Reshaping SEQ – Moreton Bay Region

June 24, 2022 @
Event
The SEQ Regional Plan and State Infrastructure Plan are due for renewal, in this series we have been talking to civic leaders about what needs to change.

On June 24, Moreton Bay Mayor Peter Flannery and CEO Greg Chamello discussed how to design a better SEQ Regional Plan for their region.

Peter Flannery is Mayor of Moreton Bay – and no one would appreciate the SEQ growth challenge better. Think the Caboolture West development corridor, the Petrie Mill project, countless residential developments, a $300m+ hospital expansion, a target additional 230,000 people by 2041, an additional 100,000 jobs, and a doubling of their economy to $40 billion – this will be a growth engine room of South East Queensland.

More than 80 people joined us for this robust discussion.
